- Ann Handley's Everybody Writes: At Conference #1, Ann was giving the keynote speech, so my goal was to get her to sign my copy. Which meant I had it with me during my trip there. So I flipped through it while I waited for my plane to board, but before I met up with a friend of mine also on the same flight (hi Jim!). Even though I've been a professional writer for nearly 20 years, Ann always has good tips that apply to everyone. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend taking a spin through it. But only the hard copy version! Ann told me on Twitter that there are counterfeit versions going around online, so only the hardcover and Kindle versions are legit. (Plus if you want to see what she wrote in my book, check out my tweet about it. I'm still pumped about it a week+ later.)
- This Twitter thread on privacy by Paul Jarvis: Paul brings up some interesting ideas on online privacy and what it means to people, business, brands, and governments. (He's also got a great book out called Company of One if you're into that sort of thing. Check it out, you'll be glad you did.)
- The original Bitcoin whitepaper: After hearing Gordon Graham talk about blockchain at Conference #1 and Zulfikar Ramzan at Conference #2, I started doing my own research on the topic. I'm more interested in blockchain technology as a whole, but this is the OG starting point. Have you read much about blockchain tech? What resources do you think I should dig into next?

Not only have I been reading a lot, but I've been trying to write more regularly too. I'm hoping to get this newsletter out to you more regularly so I can change the name from *irregular to something more fun. 😀
In case you're interested in reading some of my other writing, check these out:

Every time I hear the intro to this one, I think it's an old school Tori Amos tune, but in fact, it's a new Sara Bareilles song. Even she thought it was her tribute to Tori Amos, so I wasn't the only one who was struck by the comparison. (I'm a big Tori Amos fan and have become a Sara one too.) Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
